Overview

Comprehensive Virtual Infrastructure monitoring requires visibility into both the physical and virtual environment. Simply capturing metrics from the hypervisor equates to risk because IT elements outside the virtual servers can impact the performance of the virtual environment. Goliath Technologies’ MonitorIT provides complete support for monitoring the entire virtual environment, including the host, virtual machines, applications and physical infrastructure. The technology is highly flexible and easy to use with the capability to capture metrics from both the hypervisor using the API and directly from the virtual machines by deploying agents if more detailed monitoring is required. The entire infrastructure, both physical and virtual, can be viewed from the Monitor IT’s vCenter/XenCenter plug-in for a centralized view.
